Ontario’s EnAbling Change Program is not the same as the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund.

We do not provide funding for building renovations such as ramps, lifts or elevators.

Ontario is looking for non-profit organizations that want to be leaders in helping others meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

The EnAbling Change Program provides financial support and expertise to organizations so they can educate an industry or sector on their obligations under the act.

The program funds large-scale projects that have an impact across the province.

Projects may include:

  • distributing existing accessibility tools and resources
  • hosting educational sessions tailored to a sector (such as workshops, webinars, and podcasts)
  • raising awareness (through websites, industry publications, and media)
  • developing creative solutions to common accessibility issues.

The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario of the Ministry of Community and Social Services administers the program.
