We want to make sure that people have services that work for them.

The Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) is seeking input from people who use Interpreter Services.

If you know anyone who may be interested in participating, please let them know about the following information gathering session that will help MCSS better understand the desired impact of these services from people who use them.

The information gathering session will consist of a focus group lasting approximately 2 hours in length, which will be held with no more than 15 participants.

When: October 26, 2017, from 5:30-7:30pm.

Where: Toronto (exact location of the focus group will be shared with interested participants)

The focus group will be facilitated by a facilitator who is deaf. Travel costs (i.e., public transport, taxi, mileage) and other eligible expenses (e.g., parking, personal support worker if needed) will also be reimbursed for focus group participants. A light meal and refreshments will be served.

Consumers who cannot participate in a focus group will be given the opportunity to provide written/email input.

MCSS-funded Interpreter agencies are also being asked to identify and contact potential participants through open invitation to individuals who receive Interpreter Services. The invitation will be in English and French.

For more information, or for those interested in participating, please contact:
