The Assaulted Women’s Helpline is a toll-free crisis telephone service operating province-wide 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It offers crisis counseling and referrals for women needing shelter legal advice or other supports. The service is free and is available in over 100 languages, including 17 Aboriginal languages.
