Kim Craitor
Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Community and Social Services

Kim Craitor was elected to the Ontario legislature in 2003 and re-elected in 2007. In addition to being the MPP for Niagara Falls, Mr. Craitor has also acted as:
- Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure (Energy) from July 2008 to February 2009
- Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy from October 2007 to July 2008, and
- Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services from March 2006 to September 2007.

Mr. Craitor served as an alderman for the City of Niagara Falls from 1990 to 2003. He has chaired Canada Day Celebrations and the City of Niagara Falls Parking and Traffic Committee. He has been a board member of various organizations including the Lundy's Lane Business Improvement Area, the Fallsview Business Improvement Area and the Queen Street Downtown Management Board. He also served for 10 years on the board of directors for the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Craitor spent 26 years with Human Resources Development Canada in Niagara as a community relations officer and as an investigation and control officer. He has been executive director of the Niagara Falls Employment Help Centre.
Mr. Craitor has also been very involved with his community, serving on the board of directors for the YMCA and the YWCA and volunteering with the United Way of Niagara Falls. He was the owner of the Junior B Canucks for the 1997-98 seasons. In 1997, he received the Niagara Falls Review newspaper’s Doug Austin Sports Person of the Year Award.
Mr. Craitor and his wife, Helen, have two children, Colleen and Christopher.
