McGuinty Government Invests In A New Home For People With a Developmental Disability

People living with a developmental disability in Campbellford have a new place to call home.

Thanks to Ontario’s investment of nearly $650,000, Community Living Campbellford/Brighton has opened another group home. Families in Campbellford can now keep their loved ones with a developmental disability close to home. They can also look forward to more jobs and an inclusive community that welcomes people of all abilities.  

Over 700 people have moved from Ontario’s last three developmental services institutions into communities across the province. They are contributing to their communities and enjoying a greater sense of belonging.
