Ontario launches review of accessibility legislation
The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 became law on June 13, 2005. Under the act, the Lieutenant Governor must appoint someone to conduct an independent review of the legislation and regulations within four years of it coming into force.
Ontario has appointed Charles Beer to conduct a review of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. The review will help us make sure we are on the right track to building an accessible province by 2025.
Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the review. Please check back for more information.
