How to submit your comments
The standards development committee is interested in hearing your responses to these questions:
1. How will the proposed standard help to improve accessibility for people with disabilities?
2. What do you like or dislike about the proposed standard?
3. Is the proposed standard clear and understandable?
4. What are your views about the scope and application of the proposed standard?
5. What will be some of the potential positive or negative effects on your organization?
6. Are the requirements of the proposed standard appropriate in terms of scope, application, technical feasibility and timelines for implementation?

Submissions are requested electronically in a word processing document, such as MS Word.

Privacy Statement
After public review, the standards development committee will consider your comments as they finalize their proposed employment accessibility standard.
All comments received will be considered public information and may be used and disclosed to assist the committee and the ministry in evaluating and revising the posted standard. This may involve disclosing materials or comments, or summaries of them, to other interested parties during and after this process. Feedback that is submitted on behalf of an organization will be considered to be reflective of the position of the organization so identified.
Personal information, such as an individual's name and contact details, will not be disclosed by the ministry without your consent unless required by law. Any personal information collected will be used by the ministry and the committee for consultative purposes and for contacting you should we need to clarify your response to this public review.
Notice of Collection
Personal information provided in response to this consultation is collected under the authority of subsections 9(6) and 10(2) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and subsection 38(2) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990. F. 31. The personal information collected will be used by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Employment Accessibility Standards Development Committee for consultative purposes and to contact you if we need to clarify your response to this public review.
