A number of standards will be developed to address barriers to accessibility that have a major impact on daily living for people with disabilities.
Standards will be developed by committees that include people with disabilities or their representatives, representatives of industries or sectors and government ministries.
One such committee is the Information and Communication Accessibility Standards Committee.
