The Ministry of Community and Social Services helps Ontario families and individuals in need. Whether it is providing support during temporary financial difficulties, a safe haven away from violence in the home, or community homes for people with a developmental disability, the ministry’s programs work to remove obstacles that stand in the way of opportunity or that limit Ontarians’ ability to participate in their communities.
