Health Advocacy Program

The goal of this program is to address why First Nations, Métis, Inuit and Indigenous people living in urban areas across Ontario do not have equal access to quality, culturally appropriate health services.

The main role of the health advocates is to:

  • raise awareness of Indigenous health issues
  • train service providers and front line workers on health issues
